Pretrial and plea hearing to be held May 9 for teacher facing sex charges

The final pretrial hearing for a Napoleon man and former St. Paul Lutheran School teacher facing 13 counts of sex with minors was rescheduled Tuesday. 28 year old Brian Kressbach who taught eighth grade at the private school, was indicted in January by a Henry County grand jury on four counts of sexual battery, one count of gross sexual imposition and eight counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Kressbach’s final pretrial hearing, initially set for Tuesday, was rescheduled as a pretrial/plea hearing to be held May 9 beginning at 2 p.m. The charges allegedly stem from instances involving three victims. He worked as a 6th, 7th and 8th grade math teacher, PE teacher and was the 8th grade homeroom teacher. Kressbach is currently being held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.
