Project Delayed

The project to replace a portion of the bridge deck over Lost Creek on U.S. 127 in Defiance County is delayed. Officials had expected the span would reopen to traffic before the Independence Day holiday, but now say it could remain closed for up to four more weeks. The project delay is the result of a material issue involving the box beams. The closure is approximately two miles north of the village of Sherwood, between Baker Road and Buckskin Road
