Project Share signups next week

Project Share is hav­ing signups for their Christ­mas present pro­gram for par­ents and guardians who need a lit­tle help from Santa. Signup is Novem­ber 20th from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at First Church of God, 561 Carter Rd., south of Defi­ance. The orga­niz­ers say there’s no need to come early, as every­one will be served. This is a one-day-only signup. Par­tic­i­pants must live in the Defi­ance or Ayersville school dis­tricts, and are asked to bring ID, a cur­rent util­ity bill, a copy of a child’s grade card and cus­tody papers, if that applies. Santa’s helpers will pro­vide for chil­dren 6 months to 18 years old who are still in school.
