Protests outside Toledo Public Schools Board of Education Tuesday.

In protest of the district’s proposed “Transformation 2.0” plan, which calls for the closure of several schools, including Harvard Elementary, parents and students protested outside the Toledo Public Schools Board of Education on Tuesday afternoon.  North Summit Street was lined with over a dozen protesters, many of whom had easy access to Harvard Elementary. The proposal, which is scheduled for a vote on April 28, was announced by TPS around one week before to the protest.
