Public invited to talk about new Defiance roundabout plan

In other news, they’re talking about building two roundabouts in Defiance, and a public meeting is scheduled for the end of the month to talk about it. A formal presentation on the plan will be held at the Stroede Center for the Arts on March 31st. by Mayor Mike McCann and ODOT. He’ll show simulations of how they work, and compare that to traffic signals. He says the roundabout is about a half million dollars less than a traffic light, and ODOT grant money is available to pay for it.
