Pumpkins equal prosperity for local man

An area man is a richer man because of one of the pumpkins he grew. Jim Bok of Cecil took his biggest and best to the Ohio Valley Giant Pumpkin Growers Weigh Off in Canfield over the weekend. His 19 hundred and nine pound behemoth was good enough to earn him second place and a three thousand dollar prize. On Sunday he pulled into the Oakland Nursery in Dublin and took sixth place with a nearly 14 hundred pounder, goof for another 100 dollar price,. Also last week, we won 500 dollars with a 1,240 pound pumpkin in Indianapolis.
