Pursuit Leads To Charges

A driver and his passenger are behind bars after leading police on a chase with speeds up to 120 miles per hour. The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department responded to a suspicious vehicle report south of Shipshewana. Someone parked their vehicle at an address and left it there. Officers waited for the owners of the vehicle to return. Then, they conducted a traffic stop. The driver refused and sped off. The chase went to up 120 miles per hour before it ended in LaGrange. The driver and the juvenile passenger were taken into custody. Officers found a large amount of marijuana, paraphernalia, cash and replica pistols. Daniel Kuhns was the driver. The juvenile wasn’t named. They are facing resisting law enforcement, dealing marijuana and more.
