A former four-term congressman from northeast Ohio plans to take on Gov. DeWine in next year’s Republican primary. Jim Renacci…a businessman and former Wadsworth mayor…who served in Congress from 2011 to 2019…is the first serious Republican challenger to the expected reelection bid of DeWine.
