Reward Offered In Arson Cases

The State Fire Marshal is now investigating two fires that were intentionally set. Investigators have ruled an abandoned house fire and a barn fire recently, both on Fulton County Road 12 in Wauseon, were cases of arson. The fire at the house was reported around 3am on Monday. The barn fire was one week earlier just after midnight. Now, a reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the identification of the person or persons responsible for the fires. Anyone with information is asked to contact the State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau at 800–589-2728.
