Add another name to the race for Ohio’s newly drawn 9th Congressional District. State Rep. Craig Riedel, of Defiance, announced Monday his candidacy for the 9th, currently represented by Democrat, Marcy Kaptur. The district was redrawn in the most recent redistricting and now includes Williams, Henry, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood counties. Riedel’s 82nd District consists of Defiance, Paulding and Van Wert counties.
