A man is picked up by Angola Police…after robbing Wings Etc Grill and Pub on N. Wayne St. Officials say Nicholas Jordan goes in the restaurant and demands an employee to pull money from a cash register. The suspect did not show a weapon, but had his hand in his sweatshirt as if he were holding a gun. After unsuccessfully opening the register, Jordan forces the employee to give him cash from a safe in the manager’s office. He then leaves with an unspecified amount of cash. Witnesses see Jordan…go in a house…within eyesight of the business’s front door. Police arrive shortly after and arrest him. The stolen cash, along with suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, are recovered at the residence. Jordan, is charged with robbery. Additional charges are likely.
