Rollin Williams, 89

Rollin H. Williams, age 89, of Wauseon, passed away Monday, June 17, 2013 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. Prior to his retirement he had worked as a grinder in grain mills, starting with George Brothers in Wauseon for 24 years and then he worked for 25 years with Delta Farmers Elevator.

Rollin was born in Wauseon n September 30, 1923, the son of Encil and Alta (Willeman) Williams. On August 26, 1945 he married Rozella Baum, and she preceded him in death in 2000. He was an Army Veteran of World War II. Rollin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wauseon where he also helped with F.I.S.H., and was a member of the former Delta shirts and Skirts Square Dance Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet (Patrick) Pavlat of Monroe, MI, Judy (Keith) Oditt of LaGrange, KY; one son, Jerry (Janna) Williams of Napoleon; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Schlosser of Wauseon and Laura Jane Beck of Archbold. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Wayne and Robert.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, with Pastor Keith Hunsinger and Pastor Keith Oditt, officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Cemetery, rural Wauseon. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
