Rover Meeting Today

Today, at the ProMed­ica Defi­ance Regional Hos­pi­tal in Defi­ance, there will be an infor­ma­tional meet­ing on the pro­posed ET Rover and NEXUS gas pipelines, which if built, would carry “fracked” nat­ural gas from the East Coast of the United States through Ohio and Michi­gan to a sta­tion in Ontario, Canada. Those who attend today’s meet­ing will hear from a panel that includes an impacted com­mu­nity mem­ber, an envi­ron­men­tal expert, and an attor­ney spe­cial­iz­ing in landowner rights. Atten­dees will also have the oppor­tu­nity to ask ques­tions and dis­cuss plans for mov­ing for­ward. The meet­ing is sched­uled for this evening at 6:00 p.m.
