Ruetz Case Update

David Ruetz…the Pioneer man we reported on in that standoff in Bryan, is charged for inducing panic, less than 24 hours after an armed standoff with police outside the same building as the proceedings. Bryan Police responded to a citizen assist request at the Don C. North Municipal Building, on E. High St., where they found Ruetz sitting at the south entrance with a handgun. A standoff ensued. Then the arrest. Ruetz has a long history with the police in the area, officials say. The case continues.
