A non-compliant registered sex offender is taken into custody by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office. 35 year old Robert Ruppert was arrested and booked, following an investigation by Sheriff’s detectives into allegations that Ruppert failed to report required information to the County Sheriff’s Office Sex and Violent Offender Registry within the lawful time period. Ruppert was held on bond.
