Kage Seals, the co-defendant in a local arson case, enters a guilty plea in a Defiance County courtroom to arson. A pre-sentence investigation is ordered and his bond was continued. Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 21. Prosecutors say Seals set fire to a home on Domersville Road in Aug, 2018. They say Dawond Hunt forced Seals to set the fire because he owned him money. Hunt’s ex-girlfriend was living in the home which was severely damaged. Hunt is serving five years in prison.
