Serious Injuries Sustained in Defiance Crash

Two people were transported to hospitals with serious injuries Friday after sustaining stab wounds during an alleged domestic dispute in Defiance.

Defiance Police rushed to a Ralston Avenue home Friday morning following a call about a domestic dispute.

When they got there, they found 49 year old Scott Sisko and 28 year old Karen Ebersole, both with stab wounds.

Ebersole was taken to Mercy Defiance Hospital, and Sisko was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

911 reports that it was Ebersole who first called, saying she had been stabbed by her fiancee… Sisko. She told dispatchers that she tried to get away, but he stabbed her, so she stabbed him back.

So far, no charges have been filed, but the case is under investigation today. No word today on the condition of either person.
