Williams County is moving forward on an application to secure a minimum of $2 million in state funding for the Kunkle sanitary sewer and wastewater treatment plan. The County Engineer’s Office is doing the submitting through the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Water Pollution Control Fund. The Engineer’s Office could hear back on the application as early as Sept. 19, and if accepted, project bids could go out next summer.
