Williams County Commissioners give their preliminary approval for a pair of bids for the Kunkle sewer project. The panel submitted resolutions for Underground Utilities Inc., of Monroeville, for $2.1 million dollars, to build a collection system and pump station. Vernon Nagel Inc., of Napoleon, was chosen to build wastewater lagoons with a bid of $933,275. County engineering staff made their recommendations after opening sealed bids Oct. 29. Officials say grant funding is in place for a significant portion of the project.
