Sherwood man arrested on two felony rape charges

A Sherwood man was arrested Monday evening on two felony rape charges. 57 year old Jimmy Pelliccia of U.S. 127, Sherwood, was charged by the Defiance County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of rape of a minor. The charges involve two Indiana juveniles. According to Defiance County Sheriff Doug Engel, Pelliccia was arrested following an ongoing investigation and taken to the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, rural Stryker. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for this morning in Defiance Municipal Court.
