Shooting In Montpelier

A female subject suffers gunshot wounds at a Montpelier home. Officials say first responders were sent to a County Road I location. A female had suffered two gunshot wounds, one to her thigh, the other to her calf. The owner of the firearm told dispatchers they were taking the gun apart in order to clean it when it fired, striking the victim. No arrests have been made as the investigation into the case continues at this hour.
