The Williams County Board of Elections has selected Grant Sims as the new elections director. Sims, a Democrat, was unanimously voted into the position after a short executive session during the board’s monthly meeting Tuesday afternoon. He will start on March 18. He replaces Evan Raub, who stepped down in February after less than a year in the position. The positions of director and deputy director are filled on a rotating two-year basis. Sims is a 2018 graduate of Edon High School.
