The Spangler Foundation has donated to the Williams County YMCA Capital Campaign a gift of a quarter of a million dollars to build a new cardio strength training fitness center, indoor children’s play area, group exercise and wellness studio, a multi-purpose room and update the current locker rooms. That brings the capital campaign total to $1.5 million. And that’s not all. The Spangler Candy Company’s retired and current leaders have pledged another $100,000 towards the project, which brings the total gift to $350,000. The final fundraising phase begins June 13th with 10 days of activities with events open to all.
