The special prosecutor in the cases filed last year by Williams County Sheriff Steve Towns against Bryan City Schools personnel and a Job and Family Services supervisor said Tuesday he plans to meet with Towns about the cases next week. But the special prosecutor, Napoleon attorney Jay Hanna, also said that some of the charges may not be pursued because the statute of limitations has expired. Towns has expressed frustration that Hanna has not acted on the cases since being appointed by the county more than six months ago to examine the case, which involves eight misdemeanors and three felonies against Bryan school board members, Superintendent Diana Savage, Treasurer Robb Rosswurm and JFS Supervisor Anna Meyers.
