Standoff In Bryan

Bryan Police arrests a man…after an armed standoff outside the Don North Municipal Building on East High Street. Officials tell reporters, David Ruetz staged himself outside the south entrance and sat down with a handgun. Apparently, Ruetz was unhappy with his current circumstances. At one point, after police arrived and cordoned off the area…he told the officers he wanted them…or himself…to end his life. After some discussion, Ruetz is tazed by police and taken to the hospital for a check…then, later booked into CCNO.
