Deputies from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office responded to State Road 827 at County Road 400 N in reference to a two vehicle personal injury accident Monday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. Through the course of the investigation it was determined that a 2000 Jeep passenger car driven by Travis Parsell, of Fremont, was driving southbound on SR 827 when a 2009 Ford Flex driven by Melissa McNeeley, of Fremont, failed to yield the right of way as it was traveling eastbound onto SR 827 from a parking lot. Two people were transported to Cameron Memorial Hospital for what appeared to be minor injuries. Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the accident.
