Williams County senior centers remain closed…as a COVID-19 testing requirement is currently proving difficult to meet. Officials previously intended to open the centers to reduced capacity and for lunch only on Oct. 5. This date was a couple weeks after they were allowed to open, which was Sept. 21. They say it proved too big of an obstacle to overcome by the initial date, in part, due to not having a medical professional on staff. In the meantime, they are still doing home-delivered meals to more than 500 people a day.
