Fire officials say a carelessly discarded cigarette may have sparked a fire that forced the evacuation of an entire apartment complex in Edgerton. Crews responded to the structure fire at on N. West St., with mutual aid from the Bryan and Butler. Before they arrived, Edgerton PD cleared out all the residents from the burning building. No one was hurt. An invesgtigation is on at this hour.
