Stryker Man Accused Of Violence

A Stryker man is accused of hold­ing a woman against her will and assault­ing her with a knife. Accord­ing to Williams County Pros­e­cu­tor Kirk Yosick, 23 year old Jochua Small­wood, on April 10, kept a woman con­fined to a home and would not allow her to leave. Small­wood allegedly also beat the woman and used a knife to inflict injury. Small­wood was indicted Wednes­day by a Williams County grand jury. The charges against him include felo­nious assault; abduc­tion; and domes­tic vio­lence. He’s no stranger to the law either. Small­wood was con­victed in 2013 of aggra­vated bur­glary, and also of charges sur­round­ing the car­ry­ing of a con­cealed weapon in Pauld­ing County. Small­wood is due to be arraigned in Williams County Court on Mon­day morning.
