Stryker School Board regular monthly meeting.

The Stryker School Board approves new and updated policies and related administrative guidelines from its educational consultant, NEOLA, at its regular monthly meeting. The changes were recommended by Superintendent Nate Johnson, who noted they were previously reviewed and authorized by the policy committee. Johnson said the changes were “typical” and made to comply with new legal terms and concepts in the educational field. Johnson also addressed the ongoing changes with the Ohio Department of Education. Due to recent legislative changes impacting the ODE and the state board of education, the ODE is now renamed the Department of Education and Workforce and will become a cabinet-level agency, reporting to the Ohio Governor’s Office.
