One of the alleged victims in a rape trial took the stand Monday afternoon, claiming Chris Sturtevant raped and choked her to the point she passed out. Sturtevant, 20, is on trial this week for four counts of rape, all a first degree felony, involving two women. Two of the counts allege rape where the alleged victim was impaired and the other two allege compelling by force or threat of force. Both alleged victims were 19 on Dec. 5, when Williams County prosecutors say the acts occurred. When called to the stand, the first alleged victim said she and her friend, the other alleged victim in the trial, had spent the day hanging out together before they decided to get high in a car.
