Suspicious bag left unattended at Pilot Truck Stop

Monday night at approximately 11:42 p.m. Steuben County Deputies were dispatched to the Pilot Truck Stop in reference to a suspicious bag left unattended. The building and parking lot were evacuated for standard safety procedures and the business was closed for approximately one and a half hours while Deputies conducted an investigation. The bag was inspected by Indiana State EOD and found to contain clothing items.
