Tax credits to help Ohio employers train and upskill commercial driver’s license employees announced.

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine, Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik have announced more than $258,000 in tax credits to help Ohio employers train and upskill commercial driver’s license employees across the state including in Napoleon and Archbold. More than 750 drivers will receive CDL training, strengthening Ohio’s transportation workforce and supporting the movement of goods and services statewide. The tax credits, through the Commercial Driver’s License Training Program, are designed to reduce training costs for Ohio employers and drivers while preparing current and future drivers for success in today’s high-demand economy.
