Ohioans, whose houses were damaged by tornadoes this spring are getting more time to apply for property tax relief, as the deadline has now been extended until the end of September. On Memorial Day, a tornado outbreak damaged or destroyed numerous homes and businesses and injured hundreds. Hundreds of applications for property tax relief have come in to officials. They say thousands more, who have not put in the paperwork…could be eligible for assistance, as well.
