Teen Dies In Fall Through Ice

A teenager died Sat­ur­day when he fell through ice at a Boy Scout camp near Pio­neer.

14 year old Daniel Spauld­ing of Ore­gon, Ohio fell through the ice at Camp Fron­tier Boy Scout Reser­va­tion accord­ing to the Williams County Sheriff’s Office.

It hap­pened around 11 Sat­ur­day morn­ing. He was taken to Com­mu­nity Hos­pi­tals and Well­ness Cen­ters in Mont­pe­lier, where he was pro­nounced dead at 1:45 Sat­ur­day after­noon by Williams County Coro­ner Dr. Kevin Park.
