A few dozen people gather on the courthouse square in downtown Bryan on Saturday to oppose a proposed large-scale salmon farm project in Pioneer. The project is proposed by AquaBounty Technologies, which has estimated it would use 3 million to 5 million gallons per day of water drawn from the local aquifer…which has been the source of a debate or two over the years. They are concerned the facility will use too much water.
