The Holidays Begin

It was a lot of fun in Montpelier on Saturday. It was time for the annual Olde Tyme Holiday Gathering. There were craft fairs, book get togethers, bingo…and the kids got together for a brass band recital. Later in the evening, people braved the cold to see some reindeer up close and watch Santa Claus make his grand entrance on his sleigh before the parade started. Officials say it went off smoothly, kicking off the holiday season.
