A Thursday hearing has been set for a Napoleon man charged with rape of a minor under age 13. 36 year old Anthony Jones of Napoleon, appeared by video in Napoleon Municipal Court Monday on a charge of rape. Jones qualified to receive court-appointed counsel, and bond was set at $250,000. As a condition of the bond, Jones is forbidden from contacting the alleged victim, who police said is a 9-year-old Napoleon resident, and is further prohibited from any contact with children under 18. A preliminary hearing has been set for today at 1:45 p.m.
