On March 26, a short EF1 tornado made landfall about south of Kenton, according to the National Weather Service. The tornado created a path that was up to 75 yards wide and 0.13 miles long, with estimated peak winds of 90 miles per hour. The NWS reported that there were no fatalities or injuries from the storm.
