Trail Project Moves Forward

In Montpelier…the Village Council takes one more step on the Iron Horse River Trail project. The village has received approval for $850,000 in grants from the state Transportation Alternatives Program, through the Ohio Department of Transportation. The grant is for development of a recreational trail generally along the St. Joseph River, ready in 2023. Officials passed a resolution to seek letters of interest for the engineering work.
