Trial of a Florida man charged in a triple homicide involving a former Paulding County resident delayed again

The trial of a Florida man charged in a triple homicide involving a former Paulding County resident has been continued again. The trial of 23 year old Jacob Langston was to be held this month, but has been moved to June 12 in the 1st Judicial Circuit Court in Okaloosa County, Fla. Langston is facing multiple charges including three charges of homicide. He previously has pleaded not guilty to all charges. Langston is accused of shooting and killing his mother and stepfather – 47 year old Kevin McGrath Sr., and 42 year old Shanna McGrath, (both Paulding High School graduates) – and 22 year old Elbert Merrick III of Florida, on Jan. 23, 2016. Langston also is alleged to have shot two dogs, killing one, in the house.
