Truck crashes through wall of a shop on Freedom Drive in Napoleon, injuring two people inside, earlier this month.

According to a crash report released by the Napoleon Police Department, on February 2, a truck crashed through the wall of a shop on Freedom Drive, injuring two people inside. The incident occurred on U.S. Route 6/24. A semi tractor-trailer driven by 72-year-old Frank Marschall of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, was traveling west, according to the report posted to the Ohio Department of Public Safety’s online collision system on Tuesday. As 34 year old Haridasan P. Thazhathethil, of Chatham, Ontario, Canada, was merging from the Industrial Drive on-ramp to U.S. Rt. 6. When Marschall reportedly tried to pass Thazhathethil, his car collided with the back driver’s side of Thazhathethil’s tanker trailer. After that, both cars left the road to the right, over a fence, and went through a ditch.
