Two Hurt Badly In Crash

Two people are hurt in a crash at the intersection of County Road J and County Road 3 in Fulton Township, near Swanton. Officials say Samuel Phillips, of Liberty Center, was northbound on 3 when he failed to stop at the intersection with J. They say Phillips’ pickup was hit by another, driven by Scott Morris, of Waterville. Phillips had to be cut out from his vehicle. He was taken to Toledo Hospital in serious condition. Morris is badly hurt too…flown to Mercy-St. Vincent’s in Toledo. The investigation continues.
