Two Killed In Weekend Crash

A two-vehicle crash Sat­ur­day morn­ing claimed the life of two peo­ple and seri­ously injured a third. It hap­pened at 6:16 a.m. Sat­ur­day at U.S. 6 and Henry County Road 19. Killed in the crash, dri­ver 23 year old Seth McCord of Napoleon, and a pas­sen­ger in the sec­ond vehi­cle, 56 year old Annetta Moore of Ham­ler. The other dri­ver, 64 year old Den­nis Moore of Ham­ler, was taken by air ambu­lance to Toledo Hos­pi­tal. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says McCord was dri­ving a Nis­san SUVsouth on County Road 19 when he ran a stop sign at U.S. 6 and drove into the path of a west­bound pickup dri­ven by Den­nis Moore, caus­ing a col­li­sion. Dam­age was heavy to each vehi­cle. Accord­ing to the sheriff’s office, McCord was not wear­ing a safety belt while Den­nis Moore and Annetta Moore were each wear­ing safety belts.
