A two-vehicle crash Saturday morning claimed the life of two people and seriously injured a third. It happened at 6:16 a.m. Saturday at U.S. 6 and Henry County Road 19. Killed in the crash, driver 23 year old Seth McCord of Napoleon, and a passenger in the second vehicle, 56 year old Annetta Moore of Hamler. The other driver, 64 year old Dennis Moore of Hamler, was taken by air ambulance to Toledo Hospital. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says McCord was driving a Nissan SUVsouth on County Road 19 when he ran a stop sign at U.S. 6 and drove into the path of a westbound pickup driven by Dennis Moore, causing a collision. Damage was heavy to each vehicle. According to the sheriff’s office, McCord was not wearing a safety belt while Dennis Moore and Annetta Moore were each wearing safety belts.
