Two Sex Cases Underway

A Montpelier man, accused of rape…and a Bryan man…accused of crimes involving children…both plead not guilty to all charges against them. Phillip Deck, 54, of Montpelier, now has a final pretrial conference…set for 1 p.m. on Jan. 6th. Deck remains held at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on $100,000 dollars bond. Then, there’s Hugh Tawney, 75, of Bryan, he is accused by prosecutors for the illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material. He sees the court again in mid-January. Tawney was released on a personal recognizance bond.
