A Henry County woman was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Napoleon. The victim was identified as 91 year old Lois Gerken of Napoleon. Also injured was a second motorist, 33 year old Rachel Phillips of Defiance. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, at 11:12 a.m., on U.S. 24, a vehicle driven by Gerken was northwest bound on County Road P and reportedly stopped at U.S. 24. Her vehicle then pulled into the intersection and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Phillips. Gerken and Phillips were taken by Napoleon Rescue to Henry County Hospital in Napoleon.
