The United Way of Paulding County is getting a new executive director.
Former director Chris Hoeffel left the post in January as he accepted another job offer. Hoeffel began in the position in just six months before in August 2015.
“He did a real fine job, but over Christmas break he had a better offer,” said Harvey Hyman, president of the board.
“We’re close to having a replacement director. The great news is that even though Chris only served as director for a short period of time, we’re close to our campaign goal. I think Chris’ work and the work of the board will get the new director started off on the right foot.”
The campaign goal for Paulding County is $75,000. Approximately $69,000 has been raised with the campaign wrapping up in June.
