The United Way of Williams County recently ended a successful fundraising campaign, clearing its intended goal and allowing it to help several local agencies. According to the Bryan Times, “We wanted $325,000 and we raised over $330,000,” United Way of Williams County Executive Director Andy Brigle said. He added the successful campaign was due to a variety of efforts, from smaller fundraising events that led to bigger ones, to workplace contributions to individual donations and efforts by campaign chairs and volunteers. He also said none of the events would have been possible without all of the volunteers who helped plan and run them.
