The United Way of Williams County starts a dedicated economic relief fund, to help county residents through the financial difficulties brought on by the coronavirus. Officials say 100% of all donations to the Williams County COVID-19 Community Economic Relief Fund will go directly to the organizations that are serving those in need. The fund gets a good start with a $10,000 donation from the Bryan Area Foundation, which is also offering a dollar-for-dollar match going forward for any donations coming in, up to $10,000. The United Way has other ways to help, too.
