Vaccine rates have slowed locally so the Williams County Health Department is trying a new tactic to increase those numbers. Officials have approached several of the larger workplaces in the county to set up vaccine clinics, there. So far, over 98 hundred county residents, over the age of 18 have received either the one-dose Johnson & Johnson or the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccines…that’s roughly 35 percent. Another 11 thousand plus county residents have gotten at least one dose. Health officials want to get 70 percent vaccinated.
